Claims Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:                      

The Claims Administrative Assistant will ensure that the department functions properly in support                  of the team.  The successful candidate will ensure all claims are reported and triaged, respond to phone calls and email inquiries,  process mail  in a prompt manner, coordinate and compile statistical and reporting data and assist and support the adjusting staff and claims management.

Qualifications:            

- College diploma or University Degree or equivalent
- Personal Lines Insurance or claims experience is an asset
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail is essential
- CIP or working towards would be an asset
- This position is subject to appropriate background checks that may include, credential, employment, credit,      criminal and reference checks.
