Administrative Assistant - Commercial Surety

Job Summary:      

The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and processing renewals and new bond applications, data entry, preparing and filing documents electronically and in paper form, administrative tasks, assistance in contract surety including entering bonds in database, preparing and processing contract progress reports.


- Post-secondary education;
- General office duties experience;
- Insurance industry experience an asset
- Ability to learn commercial and contract bond principles and processing
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional interpersonal skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail is essential
